This sounds like wonderful poem where the speaker is actually a guardian angel, linked to another at birth. This is such a comforting piece of work, and I loved the words you use. Of course, the mention of it resting in the body may mean that the speaker is a soul, but I'm sticking with angel. :)

This is a very interesting piece. At first I thought it was about lovers, then I thought maybe this is about twins. How pleasant it was to learn it was about body and soul. Good work and good luck.

Excellent, excellent. At first I thought you were talking about a parasite or an presence sharing the same body. But when you said its the person soul. If souls do exist, it would be one's life force.
