Simply beautiful! Very well written with a smooth and even flow, great rhymes not forced. Love the imagery throughout. Very nice work!

I admired your poignant piece from the beginning with its confluence of sight and sound. I liked your use of alliteration and your "pole" and "entourage" metaphors. -Joan

My, Dallas. Incredible imagery. I especially liked "Lila slinking down the passageway on the pole of her indiscretions." That's pretty powerful to me.

Excellent poem. It's beautifully written. I'm not sure I have a complete interpretation yet, but that isn't always necessary.
A question - is "Lila" lilac?
My only critique is the video--I don't think it adds anything to your poem, and in facts takes away from it because Clair de Lune so overly played and this particular rendition is not very good in video quality or performance.
Thank you for a beautiful poem to read!

Thank you for reviewing. Lilac can be assumed they are the names of her twin daughters. Your question caused me to re-look. An entire stanza was missing that eluded to that. I re-entered it. thanks again.

oh, well that's good! I guess I'll go re-read!

I have a more complete interpretation now; that makes much more sense! Now, because I'm no botanist, I'm trying to think of what would be the parent plant.

I enjoyed this very much! I'm not much of a gardener but I loved the picture of Lilly waltzing (lilies of the valley???) and Lila slinking (wysteria???). Well, I may be wrong in my identifications but I was happily immersed in your garden. Scott
