Excellent piece- nice and revealing and makes the full circle back to the last line which encompasses the piece as a whole. Good work.

Jewell,

We are all edified one poem at a time. Thank you for sharing yourself so freely with al of us. Perhaps your pain will help others to realize theirs and be able to move past it.

one will almost choke with anger and disbelief at how lives can be shattered early in life... the strength and determination for self renewal is evident, one heartbeat at a time... the gathering strength of those who love and respect you as a person will give you hope, one sunrise at a time... and the realization that life is always worth living for is a celebration all the time... all these because dreams can also sustain, every moment, every time...

Share... one poem at a time...

If I could give more... stars I would. You have touched me... tenderly with your words. Now and again... you are reminded... once in a while... probably without warning...

I love this piece. I'll have some others read it...

Happy, Happy New Year :)

D.

She only had to discover her purpose. Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem. I appreciate it as a tribute to someone who endured hell and now inspires others. I'm not sure if I like the poem centered that way. The pace is fine as is. Well done.

Touching, very touching indeed. The let out you have found at last is the sanest thing any sensible and peace loving person can find - one poem at a time. I liked that and the flow of thoughts put very well.

One caution though - if all your future poems are going to be on a single theme of pity me, it may lose favour with readers. Variety should be brought in.

Wow, brown, with yellow lettering, what a good choice, it goes very good with the picture. Did you try red? :o) You are so creative and you write such good verse, too. You are quite a Jewell! Jim

You didn't really need that much elaboration on "Nightmares" for I am sure that most people got the idea, yet many are probably to afraid to face their own fears. This was a great explanation, especially as you share your story one poem at a time. People judge us for what they see, but don't look at us for who we are. As I read your writings, I have a sense of who you truly are. Don't stop doing what you're doing.
