You have expressed the love of Christ and what should be the love of Christians so well. If only more shepherds told their congregations of this love, there would be less hurting in the world today. My favorite line is "One cannot lift burdens while their heart is wrapped in chains". Your artwork is beautiful.

I loved your poem it is so true and has captured my own thoughts. It is strange how many people condemn others claiming their religous prowless. You have described my mother to a T. I tend to overlook her demeaning ways knowing that her judgement will be directed from above for all that she has incurred. It just doesn't seem to end does it? Your vivid images and decriptive passages have touch me. jeana

jeana, check out, "A Love Letter" for me ok? I'mso happy you liked this one.
We can so quickly turn around a judge a person for judging us wrongly because the root of rejection takes hold. Be careful. If the enemy can't get you upfront he'll getcha with the backlash! Hugs, Jewell

We can preach and preach our own manipulating sermons, but without love, all our works and every word will be as clanging brass.

My heart literally aches as I feel what the Holy Spirit feels and hear his still small voice crying out to us all.

I highly doubt that when we stand in line at the Judgement seat of Christ, we'll be pointing fingers any longer.
I surely don't want to be doing so, when my eternity is before me.

This gives the reader a fulle insight to the workings of your heart as you wrote this supreme poem.
You are loved by so many, and you can count me as one of them

Glen I appreciate these stars and wonderful commetns so very much. THANK YOU! This one had it's day in the wrong perspective. I first wrote it pointing my fingers at those who have judged me saying "you you you" I felt convicted later and did a lot of editing. I'm happy you found this after the edits. I feel better about it now.

Ahhhhh dear dear Jewell- This was fantastic the best I have ever readof yours- to this date! I was so impressed by the way this seemed to flow so naturally and ryhme too- I can tell it was inspired... You did have a few places where your commas needed spaces before the next word - a small stupid nit I know- Write on Be open and let it flow dear one- hugs- Diana

My favorite line= One cannot lift burdens while their heart is wrapped in chains.

Jewell,

Your words above and below are piercing and should be so. While the truth is intolerant is always wears the garment of love. Haughtiness is hatred. This is such a powerful phrase I hope everyone absorbs this truth.

Hey I love your new name or is it another account? Thanks for the nice review. I appreciate your insightful review.
I have a confession though, I wrote this while three fingers pointed back at me and I had to edit a bit, to remove all the YOU YOU YOU lines and include myself.
I woke feeling convicted and came back to edit. Did you see it prior to now?
    Hugs, J~

No but that is what I admire so much about you jewell. Is you remain ever so humble before the Lord. I sense it in your spirit and wish I could meet you some day to the the brightness of the Lord shining in and through you.

Ahh Jer. Thanks! The second I think I'm humble, God shakes me some more. We are continually refining are't we?
Arrange for me to come speak and sing at your church...then we can meet! LOL ;-)

VisionaryPoet,

I read your poem and your notes. I hope that no one is pointing the finger at judgement day because we have no right! I, for one, take full blame for any wrong choice that i have made. I give love whenever I can.

I messed up yesterday. I bought a large ruby ring for a friend because he told me that he could not afford one. I truly feel that he pawned uit and that his wife does not know about it. I want to call her and tell her that we had sex to get him back but we did not. It is just evil thoughts and I am sorry for my mistake. I was only trying to help. honestly.

The flow here is smooth. Your feelings are well described. You did a wonderful job.

There was no SPAG. No room for improvement.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

It's so funny, I thought of you when I put the goats in there! LOL But no false judgement intended! Thanks so very much for the awesome six star review. I hope I hear from more people. I realized I must take out the Your-s and your-s or I'm doing wrong judging as well. Going to edit it a bit. Love ya J~

Powerful piece my friend...your perspective is deep and powerful...judging others and not judging one's self can be trouble. Taking a look inward is always a good idea. It is like the saying about glass houses. It is really a well written, thought provoking piece and I truly enjoyed reading this my friend. Please keep writing and I will keep reading. You are very talented..take care...Paycojoe

When I criticize you
is it my mirror of within

I point my fingered judge
perhaps it was my sin

am I the jailer or an inmate
where does it all begin

the truth can be found
if we reveal the light of Him

he does not separate
but sees us all as kin

if we chose to give up our burdens
it is an end in which we all can win
