I always cheer for the animals. But I do understand that many people hunt for food. I have no problem with that. I do have a problem with those who hunt for the sport. I enjoyed reading your post and thank you for shairng.

    I agree with you. I don't hunting for sport, but for survival is okay.

Whew! I'm glad that the hunter missed the little bunny! I saw your 575 that preceded this one and you kept us in suspense. I know hunting is a sport but I wish that anyone using a gun for violence would miss their target!

since rabbits/bunnies don't run... how about:
"gunshot misses little prey--
hops into rabbit hole safe"

just a thought lol

good imagery with a happy ending

Do we chalk it up to a bad shot or just one smart animal to find a nearby hole.
