How can Gavin be the man who was murdered under the name of Ian Jones? Her parents or Danielle's brother would have no reason to kill Gavin, would they?

Thank you Carol, it was explained earlier in the book that they changed their names.

It seems Danielle is getting closer to the truth. I hope Oliver doesn't get her phone and see the messages. She could be in danger if he finds out she is doing research on him. I'm always happy to see another post.

Jacob,
This is a great addition to your book. It appears that shit is starting to get real. Danielle better be careful someone doesn't figure out her game.
Well done

WEll, now we can be sure that Danielle and Callum are in dangerous territory regardless if they stay or if they leave. Oliver is not going to let them get away with knowing any more than they did. Danielle seems to like to play with fire. Good thing Max knows where they are.

Danielle and Callum are in danger staying in that house and probably in danger if they leave. I am glad she told Max where she was. At least somebody knows it now. Love the story.

I like your engaging format. Now I am waiting to hear what happened on Dec. 9th. You sucked me right into the plot and the murder. How the parents are involved or in danger is very mysterious. gayla

Danielle is managing this investigation, virtually on her own and is leaving herself vulnerable in the process. She desperately needs someone a little more proactive than Max, I think, to inject some momentum into her enquiries. But this is intriguing and entertaining stuff, Jacob. Well done! Debbie
who was killed (last?) on Marine Parade
especially when she seemed to (be) head over heels...
lines of enquiry (have) been pursued

Captivating, want to read more, An interesting story that will lead to many problems for many. Reminds me of the BBC series on crimes and murders. When is Poirot going to show up.

I love how you've kept the tension high in your story. From the moment Danielle starts piecing things together - I can feel her shock. The sense of urgency is so strong. It's so easy to get pulled into her world, and I'm hooked to find out what happens next. Great work! Keep it up!
