Some good clarifying: "She's like us. I could sense her aura." Miriam watched the tail lights disappear around the curve.
"Yes, she's like us, and she works with Matthew. She'd never have left if she knew what I was about to say. But they are gone, and now it is up to you and me to protect Matthew and get him to safety. Can you take me to him now?" i like the vulnerability showing up here. As they stumbled onto the front porch, DeLuca rubbed his face, trying to shake off the strange feeling crawling up his spine. "Look, I don't know what's going on in there, but I'm not sticking around to find out."

Hi Carol, I just love this story. You're writing it so very well. Eleanor is so much fun and good to have around. I'm starting to think she can fix anything. Now onto the next chapter. Ulla xcx

Oh how satisfying to haunt those two men who are really just wimps inside!
Another great chapter. So glad Donatelli is being kept safe and protected.

very good, I love it but I still think it would be awesome to be able to do ghostly things. Where do you come up with these things, my imagination is good but not that good. I have a knack to make things thrilling but nothing compared to what you are capable of

This was fun to read. I liked how the men looking for Matthew were freaked out over the ghost act. I'm glad they are getting him to a safe place. Mirian is looking forward to getting to know her granddaughter. Nice writing.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I am so far behind trying to write for this contest and read/review it. I must have lost my mind. I doubt I can get the story finished in so few days, but I'll give it the old college try.
Smiles, Carol

I'm glad to see Eleanor's humour coming through even though they are in a pretty desperate situation, I really hope they manage to get Matthew away. Another well written chapter, Carol, I enjoyed reading it.

So the defective detectives searching for Matthew in the abandoned mansion, gets intercepted by a mischievous ghost(s) Eleanor earlier tries to urge Donatelli to remember what happened to him, but still he doesn't remember. Beautifully written blessings Roy

I had thought Jenna went off with Garth and Danni; however, she's here with Eleanor, but hasn't yet seen Matthew. That part confused me a bit, but I did enjoy how she and Rebecca taunted Maxwell and de Luca and scared them away. Frank and his hospital must be very close by for the helicopter to arrive so quickly. I'm pleased Donatelli will be teaken off to a more secure location, and expecially a private hospital.
Well done.

This chapter starts off sad a Matthew fails to recognize Eleanor, who calls her friend for help with getting Matthew medical help. Then Eleanor, doing her ghostly thing, gets rid of a crooked detective and equally bent special prosecutor before the helicopter arrives to pick up Matthew and take him to Frank Devito's hospital.

Yay! Now that's the way a ghost detective should use her skills! I'm glad the two no-goodniks were so easy to scare away and didn't wait to see the helicopter land to see it pick up Donatelli. I'm guessing if he saw Jenna, his memory would come back!
