I love the pun in the poem, and the creativity woven in it. the last line took me off at first reading. Thanks so much for sharing your work. I did enjoy it. Do have a blessed week, dear Roy.

Lol! I like it - the pun of "fowl water" is not lost on me. We walk by a duck pond daily and I have wondered where the waterfowl do their business. I hope there are other creatures cleaning below!

Fun and clever last line. From what I recall, that's what you want to achieve, something that has an interesting thought provoking play on words. Nice contrast on calm and clear versus disturbed and fowl.

Excellent, love your last line and alliteration in the second, I can imagine the state of the water after feeding, though it is fun, very well written and presented****kahpot

That is a very cute poem, Roy! Nice, light hearted and downright funny!! I loved the pun. Also loved the artwork. I could picture kids feeding the ducks and watching the water smoothly disturbed.
Take care,
Rhonda

Roy,
I love this poem. It's witty and I love the play on words in the last line. The picture is a good match for the poem. Those three lines are very powerful.
Great job
Cecilia

I raise ducks so your minimalist haiku is meaningful to me. Ducks are indeed fowl/foul, I change their pond water (Kiddy pool) several times a week and they love to eat mud.
