Oh, this is wonderful, my friend, and heartfelt. A wonderful prayer and desire to be used of God as "Everyday Stoneware" for His glory. Amen to that!
Sending you my best today as always, and my very best wishes for the Dear God contest,
Sal :))

What a great story. It sounds like you walk with Jesus everyday. The story flows nicely from start to finish.
Well done and good luck in your contest.

This feels very heart felt. I enjoy poems and stories of worship that do not preach. When you try to force your thoughts down someone else's throat, nobody wants to .

This is a very well thought out prayer and conversation with God. You touch on several points of doctrine essential to the faith and express yourself clearly to the Lord.
Good luck in the contest.

The sub title here is appropriate as the author wrestles with the knowledge of being chosen by God to do his work despite, like all of us, being' such a flawed individual.'

Oh, how could I not applaud your words used in this terrific article, although I think I'm the worst sinner of all, but He gives me a heart of flesh to tenderise my sinful impact, I want to be like Jesus, merciful and mighty to please His God. Sometimes God is judge and redeemer at the same time, but through Christ He reveals His tender, gracious, merciful heart. Well done John, great post, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy. You're right, Jesus is sitting at God's right hand and intercedes for us when we make the flesh-and-blood sinful mistakes to which we're all prone. I appreciate your insightful review and especially your sixth star. John

I think it is an emotionally penned thank you letter to God, but also, in some ways, a letter to yourself that challenges you to keep the faith, remember to be humble, to find meaning and purpose in the smallest of corners, the relationships that you can be a part of. There is a lot of emotion in the language here, in the voice, and it is very personal and full of a warmth of spirit that warms the reader as we read. There is a hopeful tone here, a satisfied tone, in finding satisfaction in simple, small things. I have often thought about these kind of things myself and come to the conclusion that God will find accomplishment in us in things we wouldn't necessarily think much of an accomplishment ourselves. estory

Thank you so much. I can't remember a more indepth review of any of my writing. You broke down each segment of this work and explained exactly what I was trying to convey. You described it better than I could have myself. Your interpretive ability is remarkable. I appreciate your kind words. John

Hello John,
your prayer is one that I would like to adopt as my own. It was spoken from the heart and shows the humble way that you view yourself. Who knows what accolades God will award you when your time to return home comes. I think sometimes the people who accomplish the most are those who seem to be falling under the radar. Well done my friend. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.
Have a blessed evening.
