I hear your words sweetie, but I am afraid that it may take a while for the other side to get used to the decision made. And how do I know that? Well I happen to be one that will be profusely unhappy if the opposite person is picked to lead this country because it was bad enough the last four years.
Also because I have never seen so much hatred for the other sides. However, the difference with me is I will know I have to accept and hope for the best.
But some others I am hearing there will be rioting and much protesting with violence. Not good!
We are a very strong country with our beliefs. We should use that strength for positive and not negative. And yet you and I are as strong with our beliefs as anyone else so we must never budge. So I am so proud of you for coming back and let your voice be heard. Very proud!! Keep it up sweetie and I have been so busy that I have not had a chance to ask how it is going for you?
Just know how happy we are to see you and love you. Debi

I am praying with you. The town I live in has a FaceBook page. A person posted a prayer, just asking for people to pray for this upcoming election not anything political and a person replied with true hate. She stated that we should only pray that a certain candidate wins. If we pray for the other candidate, then we are evil. I wanted to reply, but decided to stay out of it. Thank you for praying with me.

i like this poem because it is current but can be applied to all rivalries. It is America-centered but Universal. You address a difficult situation but inject hope into the hostility. Reasonable human beings go forth in hope. i like how you address that good part of our nature.
