Hi Anonymous,
Excellent poem that touched my heart and made it leap with hope. You paint such a beautiful and accurate picture of human emotions and how valuable they are. Even negative ones need to be respected for all of us have them ...when we're "in the red" so to speak, we need to learn from it and dissolve into an understanding of ourselves...processing through the kaleidoscope of the human emotions that make us who we are ...the Arc of Us as you so beautifully expressed.
Your talent is with a glowing heart, deeply understanding human nature with love.
All the best,
Senyai

Ciao mystery poet, you now have 4 votes.
I found your poem creative and original.
and I love all your poetic expressions for each shade.
This line is the core of your poem:
each color, a single heartbeat
in the spectrum of being.
Beautiful said!
Best of luck!

I really enjoyed this poem and love the way you bring each colour into a new verse, tying it up at the end into a pure vision of home.
Thank you for sharing this. It touched me.

The metaphors are well written in your rainbow poem for the contest. I like that you included all of the colors, each with an interesting emotion, and then a summary statement at the end. You have some nice alliteration here and there. Well done. Best wishes in the contest. Carol

This poem, with its bold use of colour imagery to evoke human emotions, is a captivating exploration of the inner world. The poet skillfully weaves together vibrant hues with complex feelings, creating a tapestry of sensory experiences that resonate deeply.
This poem is an enchanting exploration of the relationship between colour and emotion. Its unique perspective, vivid imagery, and emotional depth make it a compelling read.

I love how you share emotions through color! I like how each hue shares a distinct feeling. The way you show the warmth of orange laughter with the cool blue is perfect. The ending, describing colors as a "bridge between storms," is so strongly written. For me that feels like you are describing life's journey. Great job!

A beautiful free verse offering for the contest here -- your use of the ROYGBIV color scheme to describe human emotions and their manifestations is a wonderful vision of the rainbow! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;)
