This is so close to being like Miss Marple in the Agatha Christie's character, you've coined it rather well, Hattie is a dead ringer. So, we find that old Mr Howell didn't really die in questionable circumstances, but did die. I love your characters, which always humanises the interest in stories, well done, blessings Roy

I hate to see this story end. I really do hope you decide to solve the mystery of Old Mister Mcgillicuddy disappearance. I am also missing my boyfriend, Greg. Love your writing.
Guess I am a co-conspirator in your little drama bexause I was the one who slipped (because)

I would feel terrible if I hadn't still had a six to give you for this wonderful ending, Doug. You did a magnificent job with the story and the ending was a surprise. I had so much fun reading it and playing detective along with the gang.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

I've been completely out of the loop for a month, dear D. Health stuff. I'm sorry to be so behind with you. A brilliant wrap-up nonetheless. How clever of Hattie to devise a murder mystery to wake up the bored residents and staff of The Berkshire.
One nit I couldn't make out: Everyo The others looked at Hattie, who said, "Nope. You are forgetting the two clues we found in room 312."
Other than that, Perfecto!
Sending along my very best today as always.
Sal :)) xo
