Yes, you definitely survived an awful experience. I'm glad you did, and I'm glad you have learned that God has your back. I can't imagine the pain you experienced. I hope that by now the pain is gone and that you can function well on your own. Thanks for sharing this story. Blessings. Carol

Sally made a declaration in writing this morning, and I join with her in the same resolution, I'm not ashamed of loving God, He's not ashamed of me, (nor you) He forgave the worst sinner in me! And that love I could not expect nor deserve but the simple truth is He's willing no matter what we do or have done, He never abandoned you, and never will Cindy, that's why you're here today dear girl. God bless you, Rhonda and Wayne are doing fine. Thanks for sharing, sometimes we have to go to the bottom to go up. Blessings Roy

Is it not amazing the strength we receive from God's word , the builder of ouir faith. God loves a fighter and no doubt He saw this in you. I am happy you are doing better and serving our Lord. He lives and we do too.
Sending blessings your way.

Thank you for sharing you're vulnerability. It was almost like spiritual darkness. This is a time when we feel God has abandoned us we feel we are just stumbling through the darkness. I'm so glad to read this: "I began to love life again, though I had to live through bouts of intermittent, sometimes excruciating pain, that painkillers no longer helped." i'm sending healing on all levels where needed

God works in mysterious ways. Often, we have to go through trouble before we can see the light of God. I will continue to pray for you. Please write often and keep us informed.

You told your story very well. I am so thankful for the faith that has enabled you to be restored to some of the former health you had. I trust you keep your faith strong, even when you have pain or discouragement. Love, Verna

Verna, thank you. I get some of my faith on Fanstory. I walk now unaided sometimes.
Have a nice Monday,
Hugs,

I am sorry you have suffered like this Cindy and I hope you nurse yourself back to good health soon. These health challenges tend to set us back in time and depress us, thank you for sharing your story and get well soon, love Dolly x

Cindy, your story touched my heart. Thank you for sharing such a personal experience. I loved the spiritual aspect of the blue cane in the corner of your hospital room as a sign and its later manifestation from the pharmacy. That sent chills up my spine. gayla

I spent most of last year in hospitals and rehabs. I couldn't stand it anymore. Those little slices of death confined to small beds and unable to move. The last hospital trip I rwn from the EMTS. I told them I'd rather die in my room, but I finally relented and did what God wanted me to do. I haven't been in the hospital soon. Thank God tears many come at night but joy cometh in the morning.
