Oooohhhh, these kinds of stories always give me just a bit of the chills... and makes me worry more about some of the young ones I see come into the store occasionally. A great offering for the contest, Gypsy, and a good light to shine on those suicide 'helps' in your notes... Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;) Yvette

Okay, this contest entry was definitely creepy. Again, Dean would be so proud of you. I enjoyed reading. You did a wonderful job with this contest entry. I'm sure it will rate high. Just in case, good luck with the contest.

Well, wel. This was a surprising twist at the end and a nicely written creepy post. Your forte is Gothic and dark. You don't over dramatize and you lead one way only to pull the rug out from under the reader. To someone who enjoys spooky, that is a compliment. I really enjoyed this. Gretchen

Thank you, Gretchen. I should had waited a few days to post but I'm too impatient. I just read it and found inconsistencies. It's bed time but tomorrow I will work on it.

Wow, Gypsy, I wasn't expecting this length. Quite a magnum opus here which I enjoyed reading. In fact it was expressed with such passion and credibility that I believed for a moment it was non-fiction. The build up of fear is very real and I could imagine the dread and insecurity you felt. One edit: I was the outsider who never fit(ted) in (I might just have given you the British English version). All beautifully presented and a strong contender. Good luck! Debbie
