I like how this pushes through her memory her maybe false memory. The plot thickens: "
"A mistake?" Fiona scoffed, her eyes narrowing. "You think I'm going to believe that? You were hoping for something, weren't you?" interesting ending

It's a story strictly out of my genre but one I was willing to try for the season. thank you so much for stopping by and reading.

Well it isn't an easy back and forth dealing with someone who appears to be crazy. One minute she thinks she killed and they her sister killed him and then he isn't dead and is coming to dinner. Even if she killed him she would have an insanity plea.

Fiona is a wicked one...she tries to play the helpless one, but she changes like a cameleon. Never know what she will do next. Thanks for the review, Beth.

-A great chapter Carol. I'm thinking there is more than one character in Fiona and you show them well, from steely glare to smiling and serene. A very twisted sisters story here and a good read.
cheers,

Thanks Valda. Yes, Fiona gives us a lot to think about and to wonder if she is all there or just very clever and devious. Thanks for reading. I appreciate it very much.

This is an unusual story as Fiona seems to be mentally ill and Sharice seems a bit odd herself. I assume there really was a Peyton, but he is dead outside his house? Does Sharice live with Fiona? Is this a long running problem between the sisters as they both want the same man? It is all rather confusing.

To be hones, I have no idea how this creepy story climbed into my thoughts and had me writing it. Scares myself at times. Luckily it won't be a real long one so we can get back to having fun with Eleanor...or at least I hope.

You have created two complicated personalities that are forced to clash because of their relationship. Mental instability always causes drama and mystery. Introduction of a pregnancy test makes it difficult for the reader to speculate on an outcome. You leave us to wonder what might happen next. We are never able to second-guess where you are going. We have to wait and see what intriguing scenario you will tantalize our imaginations with. (This is why your novels are a success)

HaHa! In this particular case, I don't even know where I am going and have no idea how I got here. I don't have an Eleanor to give me tips! Thank you so much for tagging along in this creepy one.

Sharice is very nervous around Fiona, and I can't blame her for that. Fiona is a monster when she's with Sharice. I think Fiona is a psychopath; she has two sides to her, and I don't believe for a moment that she needs that wheelchair. I don't like this type of story, but I'm going to follow it to the end. Bring back Garth and Eleanor; they'll sort it out!! LOL. Well done, my friend. Love and hugs. Sandra xx

You are a hard one to fool, my dear. Are you related to Mother Nature - in that commercial where it says you can't fool Mother Nature? Forgive me...I have no idea why my brain wandered there. Must be the creepy characters I am dealing with in this book. I need Eleanor!

You haven't anything to be forgiven for, my friend. The Empty Chair is just one more handle to your brilliance as a writer. This one scares me, but I have to find out where it will end. 😁😂xxxx

I could really feel Fiona's anger and frustration, and particularly her fear when she thought she he killed him. This was a really intense chapter, Carol and I'm looking forward to finding out more about her relationship with Preyton and what sort of a man he was. A well written piece, I enjoyed reading it.

Thanks, Jacob! I have no idea where this story came fro. My brain must think it's the spooky season so it would creep me out as I write. LOl And where are my good ghosts when I need them? Thanks so much as always.

Fiona seems to be having a problem with imagination and reality blurring, perhaps because of her ongoing nightmares (cause or effect?) or because of mental health reasons. Is her jealousy rational and based on a real relationship between Peyton and Sharice? Sharice would seem to have some explaining to do. Very well written, engrossing story.

Thanks so much for reading this creepy story. Both women send chills down my spine at times and I'm the one creating them. LOL Hopefully, it will be all sorted out in the end.

Another great chapter! I'm wondering if Fiona is losing her mind, since these nightmares happen and her mood seems to change. Or is she right about her sister and Peyton? I guess I'll have to wait to find out. Hugs! Carol

Aren't they the creepiest people? I can't believe that they came from my thoughts... The cobwebs fell to the side and let out a few spooky ones. Oh well, tis the season, right?

Rattled much? The cracker has done slid off her cracker, and sailed across the room. I surmise, and don't tell anything, I want no spoilers. I think Fiona has been living in her head since she can't live in the world. She holds everyone but herself liable for her unhappiness. She thinks that her attitudes and rotten personality should not hold people back from waiting on her hand and foot, and being thrilled at the priviledge. She believes everyone owes her . She believes a lot of dumb stuff. Karen

Hello there, Karen! I don't know if Karen knows what she believes or wants. Her world is jumbled and changes from moment to moment. And her sister isn't much help either at the moment. Thanks for the review.
