Gypsy,
I love this Haiku, and it's positivity, especially the last line which paints a picture of care-free leaves, instead of dying ones.
Nice graphics. I like your images too.
Best wishes,
Cindy

I like the idea of the autumn breeze kissing the leave goodbye. That's a happy thought. Then my mind went to is that kiss a peck for a deep kiss. Hmm, since it's just a breeze, I'm sure it's a peck. LOL I enjoyed reading.

Autumn brings change, as Spring brings renewal. Perhaps with Autumn comes tge mind set that life is about to change as we say goodbye to bright hot summers. Beautifully presented verses.

Gypsy,
There is a myth about catching leaves. If you are lucky to catch one, it will bring you happiness or good fortune. The colors make the difference.
In my neighborhood, the colors have not yet changed so there are no leaves gliding down. However, your wee poem gives me a good impression what soon will be.

Your use of words is so perfect, Gypsy! Love that word 'glide' which personifies the leaves and immediately resonates beautifully and succinctly with their slippery surface, particularly in the wet. Thank you for sharing your delightful Autumn verse. Take care Debbie

That autumn breeze not only kissed those leaves goodbye, he gave those leaves wings to go sailing through the sky!
A lovely poem with great illustrations.

the dictionary says plural can be leaves or leafs, I just like the sound better. I will add a note to my a.n.
Thank you very much, big sister
❤️ Marival
Actually, it's both, liefs and leaves by the dictionary
Leaf = plural leaves also leafs

Maybe it's leafs in British English. That's fine, too.

It's okay, I don't want to confuse people or have to bring up the dictionary, I changed it to leaves.

By the dictionary, plural of Leaf is leaves or leafs but for clarity I changed it to leaves.
Thank you very much,
