Congrats on winning this contest! I'm way behind in reviews, but you know what I'm going to say, right!?
"Blossom bursts" is an especially expressive alliteration, as even the sound of "B" created a little eruption from our lips!

Thanks for your comment and congrats Karenina!
I would not want to disappoint my biggest fan without trying to insert an alliteration into even a short one (-:

RJ,
THANKS for your recognition. My poetry wheelhouse normally is in the 5-7-5 format, but I do enter contests with fewer syllables too.

Ciao mystery poet, you now have three votes.
The topic tells me that Spring is dear to you.
Very effective words to describe this beautiful season that symbolises rebirth. And is a joy to see ( less to smell, )
I find that many scents are too sweet for me like my gelsomino/ Jasmine).

Cool modern haiku. I like the presentation too. Good syllables count, under 17, and connection between lines. Good satori with easy to imagine words. Well done

That literally loks like an eruption or a fire work burst. Great job. Kind of a weird prompt. i was curious what kind of posts there would be. You killed it.

I like this explosion of color and beauty! The 3 lines work well together to capture the dramatic moment the bud blossoms. Nice artwork as well. Great entry for the contest.

June,
Do like your "explosion of color and beauty" phrase for my very short syllable contest entry poem.
