Here is my counter. You sure make my brain think thoughty thoughts when you write. This spilled out. Did I do it right?

Harriet has never been married
Her mother is somewhat waried
Harriet goes on nice dates
But thus far no one rates
Mother is upset
Why no one yet

You always manage to find very fitting pictures to combine with your poems, but this time, Harriet is a beautiful women who doesn't look in the least rough or old. :-) Thanks for sharing.

I have a feeling Harriet was burned by a relationship and has decided not to attempt any relationships of any sort. LOL Thank you for sharing this well written poem with us.

sounds like a scary bat
who can't eat dairy fat
she rented out an airy flat
so she could marry Pat

    Now that's better than any of my rhymes! Here's a confession. I got the idea from a very old Roy Rogers tune. It went: "All the cowboys want to marry Harriet, 'casuse Harriet's handy with a lariat".
