Thanks for commemorating the day with a poem, Joan. I especially liked your ending:
"Death like this makes sensations
Of courage or unity in all souls"
It did briefly bring our country together. But now we're divided again.

Thanks for taking the time to read and review my poem. I am glad you liked it. I try to comment on it every once in a while. It should never be forgotten. I think it should be a national holiday so all remember it.

I remember it caused a ruckus here, it was televised as it happened, it seemed more like an attack of aliens than anything else, we visited the freedom Tower a few years later while in New York, blessings Roy
