Hi Richard,
These eight words in this simple rhyming couplet tells a huge truth. It we could all just accept each other and learn to love everyone like we should, we would have a peaceful world.

I believe we can stop hate but in order to do that we all need to have God in our lives. Many don't see that as an answer. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. Good luck with the contest.

Thank you Barbara. You are right, faith is lacking in our world. In a way it is sad that I chose hate as subject based on the news.

To answer your question - I pray it is not loo late, but reality speaks loudly that many won't listen to what's right and what's wrong until it is too late.

Hmm, not sure if this is more philosophical than spiritual, but it does beg certain questions. Should hate even be stopped? Should it be? Is hate a necessary human emotion? Can you have love without it's polar opposite? Can you have light without darkness? Can you have up without down?

No it is not too late to stop the hate but with leaders that are more focused on power , we will not have peace.
The war in Ukraine was lost already last year but Biden is dragging it on because he doesn't want to acknowledge defeat with the elections so close now.
Mr. Zelensky ( whose 5 year mandate ended last May ) thinks war is a game of chess.
Finished one game he sets up his pieces for the next game.
In reality the best of the Ukraine army is dead.
Now they have 45-50 year old men fighting, convicts, mercenaries and drones.
If Ukraine doesn't want to lose more territory, it should stop and initiate peace negotiations.
Instead Zelensky is doing his best to escalate the war , he wants those long range missiles from the USA to attack Russian territory.
If he gets those missile he will start WW3.
This is madness.
PS: you have TOO late in the notices .. but have a typo in your poem .
