Haiku(thud of ripe apple)

I like everything about this: the image, the choice of font and the way the words are presently tightly between the image at the top and the line at the bottom ...
That "thud" is like a ticking clock - it announces Fall, which leads to winter, which leads to spring ...
Well thought out and written. Good luck in the Haiku contest.

This certainly gets the imagery going, as the apple's fall upon the leaves giving us that sound of seasons change, very well written and presented, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

This is a wonderful haiku om the journey of an apple leaving its place of growth to find itself ripe and ready to be lavished by a lucky recipient!
Isn't that it's destiny...
Captured beautifully, well done!

This is lovely. In only a few words you have painted a terrific picture in the minds eye of the reader. Fall is such a beautiful season, but it does mark the end of the year. ...at least to me. Best of luck in the contest. :)

Yes, I think there are so many indications of time's advancement to remind one of age speeding past, but greying hair or chests becoming stomachs, but the seasonal ripening apples are another falling to earth, beautifully wrtten, good luck blessings Roy
Suggestion : the falling apple,

This is a great haiku. Reference to the season, a strong image with even a sensory detail in the 'thud', and a linked observation adding a different perspective. Well done.

I love apple picking time of year and your haiku highlights it beautifully. The sound of apples falling onto leaves creates an amazing image. Great entry for the contest

This was a great haiku for the contest. You got the syllable count right (for the popular format), and I liked your mental image. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
