An intriguing 5-7-5 with stunning visual! Everyone has a story to tell, a quote so many have voiced. Although you talk of feeling unimportant, I read positivity in this as the verse evolves, ending with a question of hope. An excellent entry. Well done and good luck! Debbie

This 5-7-5, Nonentity, has the proper formatting and finds that time when we feel we are a white elephant to the world. The reality is we are the elephant in the room that people will have to deal with. We are special and unique.

Five stars because this haunting piece made me think. The thought here is that the subject needs others to make her feel important. I believe this is not a positive way of developing self-awareness and subsequently, a positive self-image. One must decide who they wish to become for himself or herself. This write made me think of the danger of depending upon others to know one is or should become. Quite a bit of thought from a 17 syllable poem.
