I love that dog! But I don't like the fact that Galvin has left the door open. Might just be my overactive mind working. But our Jasper is on the ball, and knew there was a problem out there, and he caught one! Great chapter, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Jasper is one amazing dog. Actually, Great Danes are a great breed. I grew up with one. I appreciate your review.

I love how everyone is so sweet to Sami and jasper. And she is a very good hostess. I can't believe it has only been 3 weeks since Noah and Sami met. He finally said he wants to date her when the job is done.
Well done, you are so good at writing romance novels.
"Bob and Sarah came from their room. "Why ( ) we meeting?" ** (are) I'm not sure if you want it this way.

Hi Barbara, I'm sorry being late reviewing you chapter, which is a great one by the way. But I have been in some severe thunderstorms the last three days and have been without electricity and phones most of the time. Only now, Wednesday night at 9pm does it seem to be reliable again. I will write a little update to let everyone know, why I haven't reviewed.i only found a minor thing:
Later than morning, = Later that morning,
Hugs, Ulla xcx

I feel the first sentence can be reworked.Mah be add a 'who'...'Jose who slept on the couch because of...
"Why we meeting.."asked Bob..
Why are we meeting?
I liked that there are lots of action here.Three cheers to Jasper.Galvin is a bit careless asking the door to be left open..
Something is about to happen I feel

Thank you for the kind review and the help. I've rewritten that first sentence often. LOL

Is there not supposed to be a , after "issue" in the first line?
When a dog senses a problem there usually is as my half Great Dane/half Mastiff has proven several times.
Plenty of shoot 'em up action in this chapter.
Not sure how much bringing Jasper medicine adds to the plot?
Leaving the door cracked open indicates something sinister may well happen.

It will in the long run, because Galvin messes up and Noah isn't happy. It will eventually bring Noah and Sami closer. Thank you for the kind review.

Hello Barbara,
I think I must have missed an earlier post or something. What happened to the two men who were lurking around the cabin, and how could the dog sense them, but the drone didn't see anything? Who are these people? The last I had heard of any intruders in the area was when there were some illegal migrants around. What am I missing?
Blessings,
Tom

These people are illegal aliens. They didn't get them all and they're hiding. Thank you for the kind review.

Hooray for Jasper! I love it that Noah and Jasper both have the same protective instincts and they both sensed the intruders nearby. That Noah is so close to Jasper and even saved his life is more confirmation that Noah is the right one for Sami.
I wonder why Galvin would break with security like that. I don't trust him....

I love thecquip from Noah when he tells Noah to stay safe, Noah, says that Jose is taking Lessons from Sami. The safety of Jasper is important to Noah so he would an aggressor who was going to have a potshot at Him, beautifully written Barbara, as always, blessings Roy
Typo : In protect(ive) custody

Another fun read. This chapter had lots of action.
Not sure about the first paragraph:
Early Tuesday morning, before predawn lit the eastern sky, Jose, because of the illegal aliens' issue slept on the couch and woke up when he heard Sami's voice.
Seems like one long wordy sentence.
Regardless., great job!

I have been trying to get that sentence right and get the information I need in it. Have done numerous rewrites. Will keep it up. Thank you for the kind review.

There was a vein of tension running through this chapter, what with the dog on alert, and everybody on edge checking the cameras around the apartment, but when the action finally exploded and the dog runs somebody down and Noah shoots someone else with the guy, you kind of just left it at that. Who is this guy and what were they doing around Sami's place? How big of a threat were they and is this the beginning of a more involved situation? These are the unanswered questions I am left with here. But the focus seemed tighter, there wasn't much small talk and things seemed to move along at a better clip. estory

They're illegal aliens and the threat to Sami is no more than to the rest of people. Thank you for the kind reveiw.
