Oh! Harvey may have been brainwashed. I wonder if his parents wanted out and Oliver coerced Harvey into killing them. What a mystery. I hope Danielle stays clear of these folks. Ok, this is addicting, Jacob, lol.
God bless,
Steve

I had no idea he wanted Danielle to rejoin the "cult" if that is what it is. Doing that didn't seem like something she wanted to do, but Jeremiah seems to think he is going to get her back.

Aha, the dots are certainly starting to join up with Harvey very much in control of events in Essex. I like the way he curls his fist at the smallest hint of perceived provocation. There's so much innate hostility there. Also the reminder of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, so important to Danielle as she hid in the wardrobe. There are a couple of edits below, Jacob, but, as I've said before, I'm enjoying the pace of this story and the way in which you're interweaving important details. Well done! Debbie

I still believe Danielle would be better off not staying at that house. I don't think it'll be good for her. I have a feeling Harvey was brainwashed and doesn't know any better. Maybe Oliver had him kill his parents. This is another good write.

Hmm, so we get a view into Harvey's head and the tie he has with Jeremiah. None of it bodes well for Danielle and her freedom. No place could be too good if one is locked in at night... I hope she and Callum get away before it's too late.
Take care,
Rhonda

I can't imagine Harvey would be released unless he is able to tell someone why he did what he did and show some remorse. He doesn't sound like a bad person. Since the name of this is "His Silence" I imagine he won't reveal his motive until maybe the end if at all.

Once owned by a cult ...always pat of the cult. It appears all of this is an elaborate plan to bring them (Harvey and Danielle) back into the fold. It's still creepy to me!
