Success whenever it comes should be appreciated and respected. Doing the best job that you can do is a reward in and of itself. Someone will always notice and respect you for it.

A happy ending after all, proving a point that patience is a virtue. Your short story read well, Raul. Just one obvious edit:
...the hard work she put (into it) she did get it.

This was another of your bright, short, and positive tales. Soon maybe you can take some of these and expand their content and make it into a short story. Keep on writing.

Just a tip: in the last paragraph, it says the next she, not sure what you are saying. Otherwise good story.

Claire's initial disappointment feels so genuine. The way you show her dedication and growth over time is wonderful. It's great to her hard work pay off. Great job in highlighting her story!
