OMG, you are so irreverent it is hysterical...I just finished reading entries about morning dew and dragonflies and then get launched into sniffing butt fingers!
I give you props for your out-of-the-box meaning for 'nature'. There that's my 2C worth.

The second stanza had per in tears laughing.
Gorillas are still far more beautiful than many Humans.
If only we would act more like gorillas.
They are giants and very strong yet they are gentle, kind natured beings.
They live peacefully and cherish family.
PS: I just heard that ONU helpers are pulling out of Gaza.
Civilians , children are dying of hunger and disease now and leaders are twiddling their thumbs.
Blinken and his bullshit talk about wanting to reach a ceasefire makes me sick.
He has been repeating the same lies since December last year.

I totally agree with you that Blinken is a pansy. It may be just as bad with Harris, who wants to have things both ways. Better to side with the Jews, own it, and double down on it than do this duplicitous approach.

This poem is outside my knowledge base, but my initial personal reaction is negative, and then I thought that must be the point! Bananas and butts and sniffing fingers is incredibly outside proper haiku which is usually calm and proper. Way to break the mold!

From what I can see, the requirements for a haiku are simply the number of syllables. The worst abuse I've seen is someone just force fitting prose into it. But yeah gorillas have their own sense of style. Thanks for reading! 🦍
