What's not to love, as I gobble down my cookies and throw back a jigger of bourbon? Rachelle, I saved a crunchy little cookie for your superb interview. You might find a few drops adhered to the lip of the empty jigger--Jay

And thanks for the additional star!

I just stopped by to read your lovely interview and to vote. I wish you so much luck for the (what was it?) story of the month. I know you spent a lot of time on it and you captured the personalities and humor of the interviewees. It was great fun!
-
Yes, Story of the Month. You're familiar with that, right? Might have won it a time (or two thousand) yourself? Anyway, thank you. xo
-
A couple of times. Good luck with the contest. As of today, you're tied for the lead.
-
Oh, wow! That's wonderful! Honestly, I never even check. I never have a clue how I'm doing in them each month. I know a lot of the nominees vote fish, but I can't be bothered. I consider it more popularity-based than merit-based.

What a delightful posting...truly well done as all your interviews are, my friend. You really bring out the personality of your interviewees and have a lot of fun doing it. Readers are the great beneficiaries of the successful results.
FS is blessed that you are so interested in getting to the heart of a lot of its members. How many interviews have you posted since you have been at FS? Write on, dear Rachelle!

Oh, Lily, what WOULD I do without your ray-of-sunshine reviews every week? Thank you for always lifting my spirits.
I've actually done eight interviews so far, and I can honestly say I've loved them all. I thoroughly enjoy meeting meeting people and learning their backstories. Maybe someday you'll reconsider letting me have this pleasure with you?... xoxoxo
-
I look forward to doing one...we'll see what the future holds. Meanwhile, I still have the enjoyment of learning about more fellow Fanstorians through your excellent postings. XO

You are the quintessential diplomat, Sweet Lily!! xoxox

Another enjoyable interview, Rachelle--although I have to admit I wasn't always sure who was speaking.
One thing I've always enjoyed about FanStory is the camaraderie of its members, and this really highlights that. From Lee's having invited the other writers to join, to the good-natured teasing, that camaraderie truly shines through. I love the idea that some of the writers used their own personal Christmas memories to form the basis of their stories (and thank you for sharing some of them briefly in this interview).
My congratulations to all of them for being published authors. I hope their book sells well.

One other reviewer said that about not knowing who was talking. I did red for Diane, green for Ann (like that subliminal Christmas touch?), black for me when I'm talking to the readership, blue when I'm talking with them. I refused to put that into the Author's Notes, though; you know my thoughts about Author's Notes.
Thanks for the nice review.

I think your using two colors for yourself might be what threw us off. Next time maybe just label, the first time, for those of your fans who might be at ditzbrained as I am. I did pick up on the Christmas colors, though. (Apparently, I still have one functioning brain cell.)

Good idea. Thank you!

That's why they pay me the big bupkes.

What fun! I had just read Lee's recent post, so I had to come back and see what the fuss was about, LOL. Between the two of you, I'm giggling a bunch this morning!
Tom has graciously allowed me access to review all members even though still a standard member. Everyone has standards blocked, which is one of the main reasons for my inactivity this past year, the more prevalent of which is prolonged hurricane IAN recovery and increased caretaking needs for my 90-year-old mom. However, my brothers have her for a month, and I am in between clients with my editing/ghostwriting, so I have time to play here.
Seems I missed a whole lot of banter about the book. I am glad to have played a part in the editing. It's fun working with that bunch - and you too. Any plans to publish a book soon? You should!
Superb interview, and answers too.
Hugs,
rd

This is a wildly hysterical communication between the authors, and seemingly against another. The patter is so funny and seems so natural for the projection of catty ladies chomping on the metaphorical throat and soul of a male affiliate. Knowing it is all in good fun allows me to salute this roasting. I read Lee's rebuttal, and his reactions are full of the expected surprise at the unwarranted accusations.

Your enthusiastic tone sets the stage perfectly, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes the reader feel like they're part of an intimate conversation among friends. The way you weave in personal anecdotes and playful banter adds depth and keeps the energy high throughout.

What a thoroughly entertaining and enlightening interview with these two talented FanStorians you've done here, Rachelle. I loved how you brought out the fun and the great spirit of collaboration they had on this project. I've read and reviewed the book, and it was indeed a wonderful collection of stories, which I enjoyed very much.
You asked some great questions here and got some very interesting and amusing answers that shed great light on the terrific dynamic they seemed to have. Great job with a very well done interview.
