Congrats on your first milestone and welcome to FanStory. I do hope this poem is not based on your life, Poet. I am not sure what defines a one-liner, but I think it might be one sentence. Rewrite with AND joining the two phrases.

One line poems are not easy, but you certainly got everything in here in so few words. The reader sees the back story of a broken relationship, a desertion and the killer ending 'except me'. Very clever, succinct and quite poignant. Well done.
