You didn't give us any warning that you were ending the story. After all, you introduced the new troll character last time and so I thought it was going a new direction to more adventures.
Hooray for Silver and Red to even accidentally rescue May! And I like the kind dealings with the dragon who apparently never was cured of his kleptomaniac ways.
Well, in a sequel, since you started to awaken ol' Silver and Red in modern times, you could have Ohmie and May in their new roles as genius scientist and anthropologist. May could be the one to decipher dragon speech and Ohmie would learn more about dragon anatomy and they could all have an encounter with Merlin who ages backwards so he might be the same age as Ohmie and May...Just a suggestion since you asked. But you'll come up with something better and ensure a role for Blado, too! He could have been the machine operator that discovered the dragon.

Thank you.
My consideration of more Ol' Silver and Red was actually a surprise to me. I added the inquiry as I was posting.

This is a very interesting and entertaining little book. I'm not really sure where you could go with it, but they might travel with their dragon occasionally doing good deeds. And maybe Ol Silver and Red could find a mate and start another generation of dragons. Wouldn't it be fun to have dragons as pet animals to occasionally fly away on?

Thank you.
Pets - except for the stinky part. Oh, and the fire-breathing part.

I forgot about the fire breathing part.

If Omnie and May are still alive 657 years later they might need some marriage counceling. I wonder what that dragon found to eat to keep going all this time. I guess all this character have long life spans. The was quite a tale of Adventure.

Thank you. No, Ohmie and May had long passed. But dragons... they're magic.
Thank you for your support throughout the tale.

Wow! First I was taken aback by Bruke's exit, so soon after we met him. If you secure a movie deal, I nominate Danny DeVito for the role. Then, the realization this mini-epic has concluded. By all means, continue the characters. Perhaps a direction like the terribly written "Rocky and Bullwinkle" movie in which the characters find themselves in our reality, are faced with a conflict, and try to find a way to return to their realm.

Hmmm. I'll have to look up Rocky and Bullwinkle. That sounds interesting.

It was called "The Adventures Of Rocky And Bullwinkle". Robert Deniro starred as Fearless Leader. Pretty awful. In the 80's as theater held a "Rocky and Bullwinkle" retrospective. Parents who grew up with them brought their small children. That was way more fun!

You rounded this novella nicely. However, yes I could see a horde of dragons running amok and needing to be controlled from time to time by the few humans who believed in their existence. kay

I loved reading this very quirky tale of May and Ohmie, albeit only venturing in occasionally, but I love the thought of a dragon that lives forever, an wonder why we haven't bumped into the odd troll body part and, of course, a dragon, beautifully written Wayne, blessings Roy

Thank you. I think it does a heart good to escape once in a while.

I agree

Well, I wish I had another star for your ending chapter; although, I hope it isn't truly an ending. I'd love to see them flying around on a worldwide venture. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. What good is a dragon if you can't use him?

LOL. I couldn't agree more.
