This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!
The only problem I see with your entry is that it is not about nature it's about human things
If you look at the title of the contest and the rules, it says to write about nature
There's still time to change it if you want to
I did like your poem. It's just that I thought it didn't meet the contest rules.
It's funny to think of flash flooding in a pool. So you did a good job with that

Flash flooding is about nature, from excessive rainfall. The indoor, outdoor pools are simply a metaphoric imagery of what the flooding causes. Flooding is not man-made but a natural phenomenon. Nature isn't only about flowers and forests. Thanks for reading.

Excellent haiku, perfect word count and the picture is a great choice All the best for the contest. I entered a haiku as well. I really enjoy writing this form of poetry. Sometime one comes to mind in the middle of the night and when I wake up OH it's gone.
