This is a lovely story of two cats who lost their way and then found it again. I love how they seem to not know what they didn't know and then in time they came to clarity and I have found in my life that food always does that. If you're going through a challenging time you just need some good food.

LOL, You are kinda close, but actually Patch is Helen's cat and Ruby is my granddaughters. When Patch overheard Helen say her muse was broke, she thought it was a cat thing and it was pronounced mews. Long story short they thought they fixed the mews and that they saved the day. LOL...
i just appreciate your fun try at it and for the awesome stars. You are the best and you even tried to figure it out. What a guy! Thanks again, Bro. Love Debi

Such a clever poem. Of course, I chose to read this one because I saw the KItty in the image, and was pleased to read of her efforts in saving the poet's 'muse' in the best was she could ... nourishment no doubt always works to restore our muses. Thanks for a happy read!

Debi, I couldn't pass this one up. LOL, I do love the muse, mews! And, of course, I'm a sucker for a good cat story. This is a good cat story disguised as a cat poem. Very well done. Terry.

A fun poem Debi and I'm sure it was fun to write about the playful antics of Helen's sweet kittens. Nice imagery and a sweet picture too.

Blessings

Hi Janet, I should probably give more info in author's notes to tell that Ruby is my Kenzie's cat. It all started after Helen used to write about when the moved how Patch hated it. Then Kenzie had to move and she told me her cat was acting out. So was born my first story about them trying to stop Kenzies move. And the weird thing is she decided not to move at that time after all.

Thanks for the fun review and comments, my sweet friend. Love, Debi

-Nice photo and presentation, Debi.
-They look like contented cats.
-You did a good job with the poem.
-Effective imagery and rhyme.
-I like the word play on mews.
-It is also clever how they try
to figure out what a mews is.
-A good line about age and
her head being blank.
-Then they discover the best
thing to do is go to Amazon
and problem is solved.
-Hope it helps Helen's mews!
-Very well done.

You are the first person to get the fun I had with rubbing in age and talked about a body part that lapsed, LOL. Thank you for getting that. Even tho, Helen is two years younger than me, she still laughed. Haha.
Thanks for the fun review and comments, my sweet friend. Love, Debi

This is adorable! I'm SURE Helen would LOVE the "meow mix" -- oh wait...I'm sure those helpful kitties would LOVE Helen serving it to them!
Cute play of "mews" and "muse" and you ran with it! Great AABB rhyme and your always light and inspiring content may well wake my "mews" up one of these days!

This was an amusing read Debi, particularly after having read Helen's sign story about how clever her cats are, now you have confirmed it (LOL) I like the different muse, mews, meows throughout. Very clever and good fun.
cheers,
valda
