A very humorous Senryu. For some reason, it brought back a very dim memory of a novel I read in high school: Henderson the Rain King by Saul Bellow. A white man travels to Africa to discover the meaning of life and all that existential bs and inadvertently becomes made the king of a tribe who worship him as a god. That's all I remember.
A fun entry for the prompt. Best banana wishes to you!
