Golden Rule. If more of us lived this was there would be less war
and violence.

I agree it probably made me feel better than it did the receiver when I did all of my acts of kindness as a younger person
I don't know how many homeless people I let stay with me. And then homeless are going through dumpsters. I'd give $20 to them. And then they were homeless at McDonald's and I bought them breakfast.
I've always been generous. Sometimes to my detriment because I go without, but it's important to help other people.
Nowadays, since I'm disabled I give to charity mostly but there is a large homeless population in the city I'm in. with caregivers help. I've dropped off peanut butter, jelly bread, even cake for them.

Wonderful acts of kindness. I think the giver often derives greater benefit than the receiver. We need more kindness in the world. Especially during election times. Thanks for the read and review.
