You are a master at transitioning from one scene/ set of characters to another within the same chapter. This makes it much easier to follow and enjoy.
I can't like Johan. My spidey-sense tells me he's up to no good even though he's doting on Hilda. We'll see what comes of that!
As for Angelo and Naomi... Hmmm. I've thought Angelo was not the bad guy he seemed ... but can this be truly attraction with Naomi or a means to an end?
I'm moving to the next chapter while I have time!

Is Carlos a drug and sex trafficking like in a cartel? I read that Hilda is a red head. Contestants are being kidnapped and sold on the Black Market?

Well, how lovely to see my favorite ghost! (Next to Eleanor, of course). Actually Carlos was truly into his life as a rancher and enjoying his Villa, but his son wasn't satisfied with a peaceful life. Now Carlos finds himself cleaning up after his son time and time again and it has changed him.
Johan is a bad guy and Hilda is in trouble whether she knows it or not.

Johan is one of the bad guys, but how bad we don't yet know. Hilda's medical research has something to do with all of the confusion. We don't know what she knows. She may not know what treasure of evidence she has. There is so much to be unraveled.

Yes, Hilda focused on research and bettering society and now is easily swayed by the charm of Johan. Johan believes he can get what he wants by sweeping her off her feet. Hope help comes to the rescue soon!

Hope all is going well for you with the editing. It's not easy to tear apart something you put your heart and sole into when writing. Hope you aren't making too many changes.
Angelo will do his best with Naomi, but I'm worried about Johan. He looks like a clean cut guy from the University, but I doubt that's who he really is. And Hilda is so vulnerable.

There seems to be more than a few plans being carried out by people. I'm so glad you have a list of characters. Johan seems to have fallen in love with Naomi who has been forced to help dispose of the body of someone Jose killed.

Johan has been sent to trick Hilda because someone wants her research papers. Naomi and Arthur Bennett (deceased) helped Jose dispose of a body. But never fear, Eleanor will figure it out!

Thanks so much, Roy. Angelo has his rough side which lately has gotten him in a situation he hadn't intended to be with Carlos and Jose. NOw if he walks away, he leaves Naomi at risk.
