A very romantic poem. Don't we all wish to see ourselves through the eyes of someone who loves us? Your entire presentation is lovely as always. Thank you for sharing your work.

Wow, this is really unique, amazing and beautiful! I wish I had another six, this really deserves one! Ambrosia, heavenly! And the reflection on someone's eyes! It's spinning a wonderful magic spell, takes you on a magic carpet ride of love! Maddy

love this poem about life. I like the image chosen. Reminds me of a Tango dancer and the K-Drama I recently saw that featured a tango dancer called Eve

I love that term: seeing myself through your eyes. I say that to my students a lot when they become discouraged. "Oh, I wish you would see you like I see you!" I say to them. It's a very important context, and a slant to which not everyone really gives a lot of thought.
Very beautifully presented, and hypnotically romantic with its syntax. Yet another masterpiece by the consummate poet master. xoxo

Thank you very much, Rachelle. When my children were young and were feeling bad about themselves I would tell them, I wish you could see yourself through my eyes, also when my exhusband and I first met and he told me how beautiful and special I was...

God sees us from the inside out. He knows our hearts. Wouldn't be wonderful we could see others and they could see us that way. I bet there would be less hate in the world. Thank you for sharing your talent withs us.

This was such a soul bearing poem. To let someone know that you love them enough to bear your soul to them is letting your most vulnerable self stand in the open. It shows live, trust and devotion. Beautifully written. Gretchen

I think this is a relatable piece for most of us. I've wondered how others portray me through their eyes, but never for a love. I enjoyed this well-crafted piece, Gypsy.
God bless,
Steve

Your poem is simply enchanting! Everything from your poem to the way you present it. I especially love the way you express the desire to be seen and embraced through the lens of another's eyes. It's a heartfelt way of sharing love.

This free verse, Through Your Eyes, moves from the real to the surreal as the need to see through another's eyes becomes the metaphysical desire of one lover for another.
