A lovely ending for an incredible story, my friend!! Cousins found each other across time and space as well as Eleanor being able to be with Charles in the end. I'm sure they are together now, united over a family restored. The final sentence said it all.
A great book, my friend,
Hugs,
Rhonda

This chapter had me in tears before I reached the end. You have a knack for portraying deep emotions in your stories. I definitely prefer this ghost story to your previous one.

Me too! Ever try writing and not get errors when you can't see the keyboard? I too think the first ghost story was to get me over my fears and this one was for fun. Thank you for all your encouragement and for sticking with me.

BOO is reading this grand finale. jubilation, that's a word seldom heard, nice pick! Easels holding his many paintings were spread throughout the room. Extra-large bay windows allowed sunlight from every direction to bathe the room. Exotic flowers and plants flourished. The scent of roses and lilacs drifted through the open doors. Nice descriptions here! It paints a picture! Sometimes I pretend that the audience is blind, I paint a picture of the scene. When I returned to the States, I discovered I was carrying a baby -- our baby, Charles. Her name is Jenna." Well, she let the cat out of the bag! Now he knows before his death. Dylan squeezed her hand, his own emotions raw. "He's finally at peace. And Eleanor, too. They're together now, just as they always should have been." Like this particular paragraph. Guess Charles will be reunited with Eleanor. Two ghosts lingering around. Well done!

I think you might have trouble putting this story down Carol, perhaps you can write about the ghosts of people solving and helping the police solving mysteries and crimes, finding lost people, and Eleanor and Charles can be eternalised, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

Thank you so much, Ulla. I wish you had been able to give it a shot because you have a great story going, but I understand when you say life gets in the way. When we went five days without electricity, I was sure my chances were gone, but something fired me up, and I kept going. I hope you enjoy the new story as well.

It's always a pleasure, my dear, to read your fantastic stories and follow along with the thoughts of your warp-speeded mind. This might be my favorite story yet; but then, I say the same thing after each one.
Thanks for sharing.

I love this story. I do wish there would be some mention that Dylan and Jenna would be together forever too. Good luck with the contest.
For the next few hours, they stayed by his side, (the following few hours)

I, too, loved this tory and did think about making their relationship something else...but they are cousins and some would disapprove. So she has a new adventure sitting on her horizon as I type. Hope you like it!

It would be the icing on the cake, but I have no idea how many I am competing against and what they have to offer except for Tony - and his imagination was awesome. Thanks for the vote of confidence and for the lovely stars.
