Oh No, No! I feel sick. That means you did an exceptional job crafting this story that generated feelings. The protagonist was left with no way out. The clown, on the other hand, has only a woman's suit to wear. Congratulations on your well deserved win.

Thank you so much. Being a clown, I think he could pull it off. I picture the Pulitzer winner's acceptance speech starting with, "A funny thing happened on the way to the dinner . . . " no matter which outfit she chose.

Well, if he is receiving a Pulitzer, I don't really guess it truly matters that much what he might be wearing. LOL. Great job and congratulations on your blue ribbon winner. Thanks for sharing.

A great, clearly written switch story with a humorous ending. This definitely brought a smile to my face! Excellent dialogue advancing your strong contender. Well done and good luck! Debbie

A well written story about a situation which can so easily happen. One does wonder what the circus performer thought when he discovered he only had a power suit to wear.
Best wishes.

Hmm, perhaps another side of the story? Thanks so much!

Most excellent. Unfortunately I can imagine and have lived similar flights...true ones. Only the not nice part, not the winning a prize. Likely passengers have stories to tell from all over the world from our recent tech outage. Esther

That's a fantastic, comedic scenario! The mix-up with the luggage and the unexpected clown costume adds such a fun twist to the story. I thought this was well written and so entertaining.

How did you get off the plane at JFK (New York) without your I.D., Passport and a boarding pass?
Plenty of time = enough of time
At nearly 8:00am =minutes before
Just barely = just in time
Delete the line, I can hardly...
Slow down and read it out loud and revise.
Thank you and good luck.

And what happened next ? It's an intriguing tale and draws the reader in but it would be oh so nice to know what happened while wearing a pyjamas and hoodie or a clown suit to receive a Pulitzer!!

Thanks so much~not quite enough word allowance left to reveal that, it must be left to the imagination of the reader, I'm afraid.

I really enjoyed your story! The way you described the protagonist's frantic rush and the unexpected twist with the bag swap was both engaging and relatable. I felt the anxiety of missing the flight and the tension of the Pulitzer dinner vividly. The humor of ending up with a clown costume instead of a power suit was a delightful surprise that made me smile. Your attention to detail and the emotional ups and downs created a compelling narrative that kept me hooked. It's a fun and memorable story, and I can't wait to see how the protagonist handles the situation at the Pulitzer dinner!
