The transition from those glorious sunlit, golden fields to the happy and inspired faces of the children is skilfully achieved to create an impact of God-given beauty. Thank you for sharing, Gypsy. Take care Debbie

This is a captivating piece you have offered, Gypsy. I love the artwork; it is beautiful. No doubt, the face of god can be seen in children. They are one of his many gifts to us.
God bless,
Steve

I like it. Children have a much purer vision of the face of God than we seem to have as grown-ups. Your tanka shows it well, both in the construction of the poem and your choice of presentation.

Yes. It looks like the face of God in the sky. I could almost see a face. But it doesn't matter. God is everywhere. I like this happy poem from you.
Well done.

Beautifully written and presented writing. I believe that the innocence of children give them a better view of who God is. I once asked a kid who he thought God was. He quickly replied that he did not know, but that he can tell when God speaks to him. Such is the uncomplicated vision of childhood.

This was a beautiful poem, Gypsy. I love that you use the fun of children to reflect the amazing grace of God. He has always been a grandfatherly figure to me. I can see him just enjoying the smiles an laughter of his children, All of them. Your poem made me smile. Gretchen

I love the laughter of little ones because it's so pure! And in their innocence and their freshness from the Hands of the Lord, we can see more of God's loving presence!
