Oh my, you mean I have you stumped so far? then I have done my job. Thanks for stopping by and catching up and helping with these suggestions. Appreciate your time and effort.
    Thanks, Carol

Hi Carol, you are very welcome! Thanks for the Reviewing vote! :-)
In the future if I do a spate of these at once, you don't have to respond to each one unless you have a question about whatever I said. I'm not really giving you proper reviews...just quick edits.
By the way, I am so impressed how you have no problem churning out stories that are original and with a complex cast of characters, and doing it consistently over and over. It took me 2 years to finish my 80,000 word novel. You have a gift! :-)

thank you so much Julie. I have been blessed because writing does seem to come easy. It's the publishing part that has me stymied. I have no idea where or how to begin.... Like changing my word document to the proper format and producing a cover, etc. I've wtched video after video and I seem to get dummer by the second. Thank you as always.

I paid someone a hundred bucks to do that for me. They coordinated my manuscript file and the artists cover art file, dealt with font and formatting, and uploaded it. Totally worth it.

Do you remember who it was? I would love to hand it over to someone. My nerves are shot thinking about it. I guess that's why I never published anything.

No, it's been years now. Do you belong to any writing groups on FB etc? You just need to ask for a recommendation within an active group. You could try the FS forums here, but I don't get a strong feeling of active publication going on.
You could just try googling it, too.

I've been googling but they all want so much information before they tell me what they can do...and the only writing place I am at is FS

Ok, I'll see if I can find it. You know, I may have actually credited the guy in my book. I'll check...

I've read 7,8,&9. Well done. I know you always write well. but I still have no real clue how you keep it all in your head. I am now in my apartment with wall-to -wall boxes. Navigating through the maze is bothersome. I will be at this for a while. At least, the actual move is finished. Now, I painstakingly have to go through every single box. I have donate even more stuff. While it gives me joy to help others out,
It still is like a knife through the heart at times. While some might say that the rocking chair that takes up so much space in the room needs to go, what I see is a chair I fed my babies in. It is crammed with memories. But, life goes on while you are making other plans. My writing and reviewing will be spotty untill I finish organizing and nesting. Great work here. Karen

I got another gift from the aftermath of the tornado...while clearing things, I managed to play kissy face with poison ivy. My eyes are swollen and my entire face itches. Fun!
Glad you are settled in and now will have time to empty boxes and rest in between.

That must be especially awful. Wear cotton gloves so you don't pass it around to your
other body parts. I wish it clears up soon for you. Karen

Your character development is so realistic I feel as though the people are real and I know them. I also feel like I'm watching a soap opera. I love the development of a friendship between Jenna and Dylan. I won't talk about the relationship between Garth and Donatelli. They're butting heads now, but I know they will have to come together to solve all the mysteries.

Garth and Donatelli have past history but its time for both men to put it behind them and move forward. I think its harder for Donatelli but he'll learn.

This demarcation dispute between Garth and Donatelli adds an interesting subplot. It seems to be a common motif in several detective stories and works well. The argument and scoring off each other help round out their characters, too.

Friction and then coming together always make for a good story. Thanks so much for your kindness and comments.

What a pity Michael Donatelli was too proud to consider the possibility of a corrupt judge. It wouldn't be the first time, and it won't be the last.
Dylan and Jenna - maybe would make a fine couple?!

Dylan is listening and learning a lot about the gallery and is willing to share the information with Jenna. Garth is also learning a lot about the judge and gallery owner, but Donatelli dislikes Garth so much that he is unwilling to listen to him. Garth and Jenna may have to do most of the work with Garth.

Friction and sparks flying everywhere. Stubburn men! I think the Cowboy will bring the stubburn Italian around to his way of thinking...even if he has to hog=tie him. LOL

What a big contrast between those two meetings. Dylan and Jenna could easily become a couple and they were on the same page from the start. Then there's Donatelli and Garth and the sparks flying between them. Hope Donatelli got something through his thick skull. It may be just the first go 'round but it would help him when he sees more evidence himself!

Friction everywhere but different kinds. I think in the end Donatelli will see what's developing and but his feelings about GArth on the back burner. At least I hope so.

Perhaps a little bit of rivalry is a good thing, but nobody but nobody is above the law, and nor should they be, particularly prominent figures, they fall frequently, this is the ailment of mankind, and power and greed are closely related, well done. Blessings Roy

I think Garth and Donateli have lots of history, but in my book, the Cowboy will always come out on top. What a gracious treat you have delivered me! Thank you for the stars! They are awesome just like you.

I don't know where you get all this stuff, but keep it up. The story becomes more exciting with each succeeding chapter. I'm enjoying the story immensely.

Hi, April! I don't know really where it comes from either. A thunder storm woke me at midnight and I got up to write....went back to bed...and woke up thinking about the story. I'm losing my mind!

So that hussy, Margaret, is sleeping with Judge Doyle? What a "Revoltin' development." That gives Doyle all the motive and opportunity he needs to wade deeply over his head. (No worries, I think Garth and/or Donatelli will have their eyes on him, and drowning is too easy.)

I'm waiting to see who else Eleanor will reveal her spirit self to!

Things are bubbling up everywhere.... And Eleanor will be popping up too! I love her roll in Chap 10. I've got it written but I don't know whether to release it today or tomorrow. Depends on whether I get another chapter done.
Thanks for all your thoughts on this chapter. Hang in there and we will see what happens.
    Love ya, Carol
