Got it! Thanks for catching that. It seems when I make changes I mess things up more than they were. Signs of senility?
    Thanks so much - Carol

When I was in elementary school, I wished I could be an invisible ghost so I could terrorize the class bullies. I'm enjoying Eleanor popping in an out. I'm also enjoying the various personalities you've assigned to your characters. Both Matthew Donatelli and Garth have a long way to go before they solve their mysteries.

I too am enjoying Eleanor. This is a fun story...though it got a lot large than anticpated but then when don't my stories. LOL that's why I'm writing 2 a day at least for now so I can make sure I make it to the end. Not that I will win again, but I would like to finish it in time. Smils and hugs, Carol

You make me think how nice it might be to have my very own ghost lurking in the shadows, watching everything that is going on around us, even when I'm in the kitchen. :-) Thanks for sharing.

I think it would be fun...I'd like to have the opportunity to be a ghost...With my family, I could have a great time.

Love this chapter, Carol. The aura created. The humour. Especially the kettle having a hussy fit! It'll take that poor detective a while to recover! I've got a bit of catching up to do...

Oh my....You've jumped in and had a reading campaign it appears. Six chapters! I hope you didn't get eye-strain. That's what happening to me trying to write two chapters a day to get caught up.

I suspected you might like the "the tea pot". LOL

Thank you so much for reading and for the lovely stars. I am so honored. Now off to see what other notes of wisdom you have left me.

Eleanor is a lovely ghost and she's having fun. You've really got the hang of this ghost thing, haven't you Carol. I'm following along as best as I can. Ulla:)))

I suddenly enjoy writing about Eleanor...it's fun. She's Benny from the last story... mischievious for sure. But she has a very protective side of her too.

This is really amusing. Eleanor is a lovely ghost who comes to comfort her friend. Then she gives the unbelieving detective something to think about. She is really going to give her nephew something to think about.

I think she is about to give everyone something to think about...She's a spunky lady. She might have lived a private life when she was alive but she's making up for lost time. LOL

Most worthy of a six, but it's the end of the week, I am sorry. I enjoyed this chapter a lot, and I appreciate Eleanour's sense of humour. She will make sure the truth is uncovered, and I suspect there will be secrets about every family member they would prefer to keep secret.

There's so many good chapters and then there's a time line crunch so I understand that I can't expect six stars every day.... though it would be wonderful. LOL Just enjoy the story and continue to follow and I shall be smiling from ear to ear. Tell Sunny it's a bedtime story!

You are getting great at this ghost story thing. I am willing to bet this story will surpass the previous one you wrote. So far, I'm getting more into the story with each chapter.

Do you really think so? It's different yet still so much fun. I espeially like Eleanor doing her thing. And Garth has always been a favorite of mine. Glad you are enjoying it.

A very well written chapter. We get a big opportunity to meet Eleanor and see how she feels about Jenna and visa versa.

She had a bit of fun with the detective! Spooked him, but gave him something to think about.

Hugs,
Rhonda

I think Eleanor will enjoy her time as a ghost as she searches out the truth and also tries to find peace for her family. At least that's my hope!

Donatelli has confronted by Eleanor trying to prod him into waking up and getting on with the business of investigation, but the hard nose probably needs softening to a degree, it's always fun with functioning ghost around, well done, blessings Roy

I think Eleanor has her work cut out for her... but I believe she knew that when she was alive. I enjoy her! Thanks so much as always.
