Isn't it marvelous to see how sunlight slants in differently at different times of the year? I loved how you poem shows that simple observation and the good use of alliteration, too!

An excellent entry for the I Love ..... writing prompt. Your words give a feeling of morning newness and the image you chose really captures the moment you speak of. Nicely done. Good luck

Hi
This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!
This does meet the requirements of the contest. I would say that in the summer, the sun is in two different directions. The morning sun goes here and the evening sun goes there. So if your window is facing East, you get the sun, which is what it sounds like you get. But in the evening or afternoon, then you would get the afternoon and evening sun.
It would be nice to wake up, go to your desk to do your work or your homework and then there's the sun lighting the way. It seems like the morning is the better time to have sun. I don't know why.
Maybe it's because people know the sun is going to go down so they don't start activities that require or light.
I enjoyed reading your poem
Good job. Thank you for sharing.
