(Just a recommendation...I would put this quote in italics as a thought. I got confused later, thinking for some reason Charles was on the plane after all because Dylan seemed to be speaking to him. Then within a few paragraphs I wondered what happened to him. Where did he go? If you put it in italics, it's obviously a thought and Charles isn't there.)

Okay, I'm now on board. I've been doing fewer review these past days, but I spent today catching up. I read the prologue and past chapters. Wow! This is the type of story, with lots of characters and lots of plots that totally satisfy my active imagination. There is no way to guess what might happen next. Btw, I enjoyed Eleanor being able to float around and see how her family reacted to the reading of her will.

I guess that's why my stories have so many possibilities. Some things are little and then some are big, but they are all out there to see how they can twist things in their direction.

Yes, you've jumped into a story that had a prologue and 4 other chapters preceding it. In case you are interested in following it...I've added a summary.
SUMMARY
At the reading of Eleanor Bennett's will, her dysfunctional family discovered she had led a secret life as CJ Grey, a wealthy and well-known artist. Unfortunately for them, Detective Donatelli interrupted the reading to announce that someone had murdered Eleanor.
Meanwhile, a ring of international art thieves have stolen numerous paintings, including one belonging to Eleanor's former lover, Charles Weldon. His protege and nephew, Dylan Weldon, flew to the U.S. to join FBI agent Garth Woodman in solving the case.
Much to Garth's chagrin, his nemesis, Matthew Donatelli's murder case, overlaps with the art theft when he discovers one of Eleanor's paintings is missing, too. As the two men struggle to break the cases wide open, their underlying personal battle continues to get in the way.
