What a short yet powerful poem you have here. I felt it. It's true too. Every end is a new beginning they say. I believe too, even if I sometimes doubt it, and I do from time to time. Perhaps, more often than that, I'm ashamed to say.

I like your poem, and the messaging is good :) You've almost got the syllable count right. A tanka has a syllable count of 5-7-5-7-7, and your 3rd line has 6 instead of 5, although it is a bit tricky trying to think of how to change it to make it shorter. You also have it saying, "knowing all that has past", which "past" is a noun, not the past tense of the verb, so it should be spelled "passed" instead. :)
