People are always looking for a bargain and shopping for the cheapest price, but as we all quickly learn, the least expensive isn't always the best way to go. Thanks for sharing.

Write me a birthday card please, please, please.
Get the flood started. You have added yet another layer of mystery, how do you do it? I marvel at your work. Karen

This is very well-written (although 2 paragraphs in the second portion are run together.) It was a good idea to run the two sections in the same entry. Now we know there really is something wrong with the man running the art gallery. We also know Jenna could be in a very dangerous position.

It's getting better with each chapter. Now you have added more characters to the mix, which makes it all the more exciting. I will be with you all the way. This story shows great promise.

Hi Carol. I see a new element cropping up. There appears to be a theft ring, and it involves an old love of Eleanor's, a man who was a painter, himself. He has sent his nephew to help find his work as he's disabled.
We also see Jackson and
Audrey have problems over a painting that was damaged of Eleanor's and they are being blackmailed by a disreputable restorer.
Great job,
Hugs,
Rhonda

And wait till you hit the next two chapters...one is being written. I don't think you know who Garth is but he's an FBI agent (a Texan cowboy) that many of my lady reader's asked for his return. It wasn't planned but what the reader wants, I try to give. Hope you enjoy it!

Understood!! Gotta love those Texans, lol.

Oh boy I love these art thieves! Reminds me of a movie "How to steal a million". I tripped over the sentence: "What artist would risk their work to us?" Can it be worded slightly differently "risk displaying or entrust their work". Not quite sure how art galleries work. Esther

Fixed! I've been having all kinds of site troubles, losing what I type, reviews, spacing, anything you can imagine. About to pull my hair out.
Hope your trip was fantastic.

The trip was great except my sweet daisy dog got a sunburnt tongue. We had to camp for a bit until she recovered. Poor baby. 9 days on the Harley was too long and hot for a pup.

Well, things are getting rolling. I thought the gallery couple rather odd because they seem to be overreacting. But I guess more will be revealed when they meet up with Dylan. These days, they can take pictures of all the paintings and do comparisons. I hope that Eleanor and Charles have enough of a difference in style to distinguish their paintings!

I think Dylan will difintely know the difference but will he get a chance to see her work? I don't know if he will or not. It's a small town just getting into the international art world. I think Audrey and Jackson are over their head.

It's the characters and their persona I have difficulty following the roles of the multitude of mannish characters in your stories, you always have so many, although I do enjoy your stories, your plots are very complex, but simplistic in their goals, now their is another artist whose paintings have been tampered with, well done, blessings Roy

Charles is Eleanor's brief love affair when they were young and the war was going on. Their paintings are similar because he taught her how to paint while he was healing at the makeshift hospital in France.
He loved her forever.
Thanks as always for the review and for the awesome stars.
