I loved all of it. The picture was uplifting and hopeful. The style of the poetry was cleverly done. And, of course the writing was superb. I am glad I moved up here near my sisters, I'm having mucho pain now from all the necessary activity, but that will settle down once I am all moved in and organized.:-)

I appreciate that you found time to read my poem , I know how busy you are with the transfer.
Sorry to hear you are in pain .. moving house is physically demanding ..
Once you are settled and stop heaving , bending the pain will subside.
Glad you enjoyed the topic and the rhyme.

This rictameter, I'm a Lonely..., has the proper formatting and sings the song of sensation. The world is okay with deep commitments and quick trysts, but perhaps a bit lacking in true friends with an understanding.

Never been in a relationship so no kids either.
The only family life I had was with my parents and they have both passed away.
I have one friend , Lucia.
For me a friend is someone that is there for you in the good and BAD times.
People often use the word fRIEND to freely and where it?s not warranted.
I just voted for the Heart of Darkness and was not surprised to see I have no votes.
I didn?t read the requirements thoroughly the first and last word were supposed to be the same. My entry should have been disqualified.

A lovely Rictameter poem about someone seeking love that makes their heart sing. I enjoyed reading this, reminded me of first love. Good luck in the contest.
Cheers

It would be my first love. I?m not only gloomy but a loner by nature.
I have pets they are my children.
I?m glad you enjoyed the read.
