John,
Welcome to Fanstory. Congrats on winning the Spiritual Poem Contest. Your poem captures the true essence of change in our lives - the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual as highlighted in your quote of 2 Corin 4:16-18 in your notes. I bookmarked this poem as you've described the reality of Change and the impact it has on our temporal life with the hope of the future spiritual eternal life to come.
All the best,
Eugene

If I were asked to describe my thoughts that produced this poem, I could not give a better or more precise or concise description than what you provided in your review. I'm genuinely grateful for your insight and kind words. Also, I appreciate you bookmarking my poem. Thank you.

Well done! A lovely response to the prompt! I enjoyed your introspective verse nicely complemented with a picture of a man who doesn't look aged at all:) The image of being a traveller and of the mirror being clear when you reach home are both poignant and inspiring. Good luck! Debbie

Well, I don't know who you are author and it really doesn't matter. Your truth is universal as all truth is! Times change, things around as change, we change. But you have reminded us that our time is now. I think it was Chris Kristofferson who said: "Yesterdays gone sweet Jesus and tomorrow may never be mine, Lord help me today, show me the way, one day at a time." You also reminded me that yesterday doesn't have to be the gold standard. We can make today the best day ever for us. Thanks again

A great review! Loved your Kristofferson quote. Reminds me of an old banking quote: "Yesterday's a canceled check; tomorrow's a promissory note; today's the only cash we have." I'm glad you got what I was trying to say. It made me smile. Thanks.
