Once again, you presentation is unequaled by any others. The sun, moon and stars are all heavenly bodies, and all want their place. I loved this poem. Thank you for sharing.

regarding that pic. . . maybe "moon, stars, sun" for your first line?
as for the last line - kinda reads "off-balance" - maybe "stageS of life"? making it plural...
eh just some random thoughts i had while reading lol
anyway, a nice haiku with cool imagery and contrast between the moon, stars, and sun being spotlights to our lives... love that thought...

That's quite the stunning picture with the lava dress. I would think that would represent the Hawaiian goddess of fire, Pele. All of nature does take turns in season but sometimes the seasons are a little crazy! It's freezing here but soon it will be hot!

Yes, I think she is the sun goddess, I didn't know it comes from Hawaiian culture. I just love the picture.

I think that there are other gods for the sun. Pele is specifically for fire and volcanoes. She's got quite the temper. Lol.

Hehe... that makes me think of Moana, the Disney movie. It's one of my favorite. Their goddess had a bad temper too. LoL

On this stage of life, we do indeed see a pattern that the universe follow. We can really learn from this, and follow the spotlight who to me is God. Beautiful and very artisticly presented work.

This was another beautiful poem. I liked the imagery and loved the theatrical premise of this. Your poetry is so deep and it's easy to get lost in it. Sometimes I wish you would write prose because I know it would rich with imagerynand symbolism. Beautifully written. Hretchen

I like writing prose but I'm not very good at it. I like haibun because it's very visual, it's like squeezing the essence of a story. I appreciate the encouragement.
