What a lovely, descriptive poem. The words give such vivid imagery I can almost feel the morning. I agree, it is the best part of the day, although my sleep is so awful that I rarely get to emjoy the early morning. Thanks for sharing.

This line is out of metre:
I MUCH an ORange CUT INto THIRDS
I suggest
I MUCH an ORange, WATCH the BIRDS
or something similar.
