I'm so sorry this poem came from a place of sadness and grief. But you did a very nice job. It's well written and very emotional.

I can definitely feel the sadness behind this. It's never an easy time. The graphic you used fits well also and furthers the presentation. Best of luck overall.

Congrats on your 200th post! I'm so sorry for your loss. But how well you capture the essence of grief in it raw stage of interment. The rhyming is assured and pleasing and the whole post conveys a mood of dignity and solemnity. My only worry is the number of words and I think you must count 'self-restraint'as 2. You could change it to 'composure?' But otherwise excellent work! Good luck! Debbie

    Thank you, Debbie. I had always considered a hyphenated word to be just that: a word containing a hyphen, but I have to respect your wealth of experience on FanStory and will give that some thought.
