Oh wow, Beth, you have such a powerful post. You actually brought up something I hadn't thought about, and that's that the Antichrist will appear as a Christian. Doesn't Satan know the Bible through and through? Once a being of great beauty and light, he can deceive.

Thank you Rhonda, I'm relieved that many seem to see this as I do. You right. I had a close friend who died recently that claimed God showed her in a dream that Trump was the Antichrist. I wasn't sure I wanted to believe that but then a few weeks again I heard a minister who read ten scripture references of the antichrist that fit Trump perfectly. If he actually wins, then I might believe he it. If not him I believe Christain Nationalism is laying the groundwork for someone like him to take over. The movement calls for dictator. I never believed America would go in that direction.

Wow, that is interesting/scary as all get out. I'll admit, this election has me scared!! Surly the United States Of America could have done better than the two candidates we have. It's like no one really wants to run.

Thank you Ric, but some who are watching them closely seem to be becoming mesmerized by them. I think a clear headed person would avoid that. Too many are just listening to sources out to disceive them and that includes preachers who have no business mixing religion and politics.

We have an ex-president who calls for violence from his supporters and is a convicted felon. His fascist ways go against his self proclaim man of God, peddling 100 dollars Trump bibles. I'm sure he never read the Bible.
I feel bad for his naive supporters. Trump brings out the worse in people and they believe all the Trump lies. At a rally in las vegas he told his supporters, "i don't care about you, i just want your votes!" Unbèliebable!
When an evil man tell you openly who he is, believe him!. Jesus does not represent the so called "Christians" nationalists.

It sounds like you feel exactly like I do about it. Those who don't agree aren't reading it. Maybe a couple did but they tried not to get ugly about it. I expected some negative feedback.

This is an excellent poem with a message everyone needs to heed. There are a lot of changes taking place that have no right to be government decisions and have nothing to do with being Christian despite what they vow. We need to consider carefully our country's future when we cast our votes. You have expressed this perfectly with your warning. Great job!

I'm horrified what this movement has done to Christianity. My wife and I are almost afraid to admit we are Christians for fear we will be taken to be one of 'them'.

Thank you for the review. I didn't know much about this group until I heard a couple of ministers sounding the alarm. I did some research and was alarmed when I read the origins, the agenda, and how they plan to go about implimenting it. They have managed to make so many feel it is God's plan for the nation.

Yes, I realize I was going out on a limb, but I prayed about it before I wrote it and asked help and it sort of wrote itself. I felt compelled to post it and it has been pretty well received. There are some I think may be having a problem with it but they aren't being ugly aboug it.

The movement has all the hallmarks of previous messianic movements: in subordinating reality to mythology such as drawing a link between Isaiah 45, which describes the Persian king Cyrus the Great as God's anointed, and the fact that Trump was the 45th president of the United States. In truth, it's frighteningly like Heath Ledger's Joker in Batman; they have no vision as this minority only acts on an impulse to destroy.
Even more alarming is that Samuel Alito, a Supreme Court Jurist, wants to bring Christian Nationalism to the American legal system. It's no mistake that God was never once mentioned in the Constitution by the founders, but if this current configuration of men and women have their way it will be written right into the document like it was there the whole time. That being that the USA is, and always was, a Christian nation.

Thank you Gloria, I really appreciate you writing this in depth review. I just read that Alito was pushing this and this and the upside flag is on of their symbals. I hope people might read the comments as well as the poem. You get the point across well. Thank you for the six stars.
